2017 has been an incredible year of passion and clarity for myself. It has become more clear that my purpose as a hairstylist is to contribute to the lives of those in need here in the states and around the world. As some of you know, last year I had the opportunity to be a hair educator in Cambodia with Justice & Soul Foundation for 3 months. This radically changed my life and the students stole my heart. Now I know I want to love people in any way I can with my skills and talents in the states and around the world.

At least 20.9 million adults and children are bought and sold worldwide into commercial sexual servitude, forced labor and bonded labor.
Sex trafficking is one of the most profitable forms of trafficking and involves many kinds of sexual exploitation, such as prostitution, pornography and the commercial sexual abuse of children.
Pattaya,Thailand is one of the largest destinations for sex trafficking in the WORLD.
In January-March of 2018 I have been given the privilege to go back to Cambodia to work with Justice & Soul Foundation for 1 month teaching their students again. After Cambodia, we will be headed to Pattaya, Thailand which is a place that boasts prostitution in their advertising, and is a epicenter for trafficking. This trip is called, The Wholeness Journey that is under the organization called, Adventures in Missions. The purpose of this trip is to learn about what wholeness, healing, beauty and purpose looks like in our own lives as we share our experiences with the women that are being forced into sex slavery. We will be partnering with a local organization called Shear Love International. Shear Love International is a ministry that rescues young women & men from the brothels of Thailand and educates them in becoming independent through discipleship and beauty school to live sustainable lives so they do not need to re-enter the sex-trade. These individuals in Thailand long to know their worth and value as they have been through so much trauma and that they can be made whole as we teach a variety of workshops that brings healing to their lives. I believe that through my own life experiences and with my skills and talents I have many things to offer by loving and reminding these girls that they too can live a life they love and that is free from abuse.
I realize that not everyone can go to another country to serve those in need, but I do know that there are many that want to be apart of this work. This trip to Cambodia & Thailand is going to cost about $3,500 with all the flights, accommodation, food & transportation. I know I cannot do this alone and am grateful for any contributions. I am currently looking for 25 people to donate $140 and the whole mission work is paid for! If you can't donate that amount, anything counts. Remember, you can be the one to invest into the future of a young girl or boys life.
