Constellation Moving Company in Mexico

Constellation Moving Company has been invited to perform in Mexico at the Dzul International Dance Festival, in Campeche,  November 25-30.  Recipients of a 2019 Bindlestiff First of May grant, Constellation is thrilled and honored for this first international performance! And hard at work! Artistic Director Maia Ramnath, and Associate Director Scott Combs, will be joined by returning long-time collaborators Medea and Summer Lacy.  It's an exciting opportunity to enact border-crossing, sharing creativity and fostering mutual human connection at a time when so many forces of xenophobic closure are trying to keep us apart... Your support, however large or small, enables us to make those connections in a very concrete way by helping with travel expenses and artist stipends, and furnishing costumes for the performance, a collection of aerial-dance pieces working with forms of contraction and expansion, imprisonment and freedom, repression and vision.
