Consent in the Movement Workshop!

Consent is vital to liberation struggles: relationships and structures founded on mutual agreement are essential to creating an equitable world. The WTF (Women, Trans, Femme) Caucus of the IWW (Industrial Workers of the World) is calling on you to help us translate this theory into practice.
We are hosting a Consent In The Movement workshop on November 11th, 2017 from 1:30pm - 5:00pm at St Stephens Church, and we need your help!
In order to provide food, cover space costs, and compensate facilitators with a stipend, we need to raise $1500. Any additional donations or money not used to cover workshop expenses will be split between Collective Action for Safe Spaces and No Justice No Pride. Our workshop is free and open to all.
Women and non-binary people take on intense emotional labor to explain and enforce consent in movement spaces, on a daily basis. Because of this, it’s incredibly important for us to provide the women and non-binary facilitators and organizers of this workshop with a financial stipend for the work they’ve put into this event.
