Maisie, Jess and Cerys are taking on the challenge of climbing Snowdon on 3rd February 2025. We are taking on the Snowdon Challenge to raise funds for our Live Event in aid of St Lukes Hospice.
We are final year undergraduate students studying Events Management at Sheffield Hallam University. To conclude our degree, we are hosting a Live Event to aid and raise funds for St Luke’s Hospice.
St Luke’s Hospice
St Luke’s Hospice are a charity who care and support people living with a terminal illness. They aim to control their symptoms, alleviate pain and give them the best quality of life. St Luke’s describe their hospice as not somewhere you’ll come to wait to die. St Luke’s is about living. The people they care for have more need than ever to make the most out of every moment. While every patient is as different as the care they will receive, they all have this in common: their care will be about life.
How will your contribution help?
We are very grateful for every donation, here are some statistics of how important each penny is;
• £52 could contribute towards a home visit from our Specialist Palliative Community Nursing Team
• £390 could contribute towards a week of meals for 10 patients on our In-Patient Centre
• £900 could contribute towards twenty hours of specialised bereavement support
