Conquer the Spartan Race for the Arc San Francisco
Donation protected
On Dec. 10th a group of 10 ppl made up of 7 Salesforce Employees, 1 Arc SF Member, and 2 wonderful supporters from Italy -Filippo and Iacopo- will be running an intense obstacle course known as the Spartan Race.
We wanted to embark on a physical challenge, but also make a difference. So, in an effort to make an impact on the community, we have decided to raise money for a great non-profit, The Arc San Francisco. Our goal is to collectively raise $10,000
With your help, we can help support individuals with Intellectual and developmental disabilities be a part of the community and live a life similar to the one you and I are given by default.
Why The Arc San Francisco?
1. Alignment with Our Purpose:
The Arc San Francisco is a nonprofit lifelong learning and achievement center for over 700 individuals with developmental disabilities in San Francisco, San Mateo and Marin counties. The Arc San Francisco provides residential and independent living services, health and wellness services, continuing education and employment services.
2. We are able to see their impact in our day-to-day lives and amongst loved ones:
My favorite part of this race is in support of this cause, a coworker's family member and a life long Arc member with Down Syndrome is pushing all the limits and will be racing with us...this is the kind of impact that The Arc SF has on it’s members and community at large.
Also, we witness firsthand how The Arc's advocacy helps individuals integrate into the workforce. Companies like Salesforce, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Wilson Sonsini, and dozens of others are proud employers of Arc SF members.
How You Can Make a Difference?
1. Make a Donation: If we collectively reach 5K, Salesforce will DOUBLE our raised amount, so every dollar counts :)
2. Share the Campaign: Help us spread the word by sharing this campaign with ppl that you know.
Together, we can make a real difference. Thank you for your generosity and support :)
