My whole life the only thing I have wanted to do is build. I love to work with my hands and I want to use that ability to help those around me.
I am raising money for a 5 month long missions event with YWAM (Youth With a Mission) in Wylie, Texas. The funds raised are so I can pay for the lecture and outreach phases of the school.
The ministry of the particular DTS I will be a part of is construction based. The money will go towards equipping youth volunteering (such as myself), physically, spirtually, and resourcefully so that we can go and build housing for those less fortunate.
The outreach phase consists of everything we learn, going to another country (specifically impoverished areas) and building houses, laying fondations, and serving those around us. With your help I will be able to help and serve in one of the most practical areas of need, shelter and refuge.
The deadline for the DTS is in January. I have set the time for funds gathered at January 1st.
I cannot raise this amount by myself. I am already working a full time job and saving as much as I can, but I need your help to make this dream happen. It will mean the world if you would help make this occur. Thank you all for your time, be blessed.
