Connor Richter's Funeral Expenses
Dear family and friends,
It is with broken heart that I must share the sudden and unexpected passing of my brother, Connor Richter. He was involved in a tragic motorcycle accident on August 22, 2021. Connor was a wonderful brother, son, nephew, father, and friend, who touched the lives of those around him. He leaves behind his fiancé, Autumn, his 8 month old daughter, Elena, and his unborn daughter, Baby K.
Connor dedicated his life to helping those around him in any way he could. He was a selfless, hard working young man who served his country honorably in the United States Army and aspired to help his community by joining the Kerrville police academy. Even in his death by being a donor, Connor is still able to help so many others in their time of need. This is the true definition of selflessness and for that I am most proud.
To know Connor is to love him. We are all devastated by Connor’s loss and were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. We want to give Connor the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes. I am currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Connor’s funeral. We need to raise $5,500 in order to be able to afford the funeral service. Based on the quote from the funeral home, here is a breakdown of all the costs involved in a funeral service for Connor:
$775 for casket/ urn and merchandise for memorial service
$700 for use of staff and facilities for viewing and funeral
$3,345 for creamation and other preparations
$700 for any unforseen expenses related to laying Connor to eternal rest
Connor's viewing will be held at Kerrville Funeral Home on Friday, August 27, 2021 from 12-2PM . There will also be a memorial service the following day, August 28, 2021 @ 3PM. Anyone who wants to attend to pay their respects is welcome to both services.
Please consider donating if you are able to do so. We are so very grateful for every donation during this difficult time.
With love,
Carissa Carden
