Connor Matsukiyo Eagle Project Fundraiser

Hello,  


My name is Connor Matsukiyo.  I have been in Scouting since I was 11 years old. I Am currently 17 years old and now going for my Eagle rank with Troop 730 in Diamond Bar California.  The rank of Eagle Scout is the highest rank a Scout can achieve. To earn this rank I had to progress through many years of training and many accomplishments. Examples of my achievements include;  progressing through 6 different ranks, completing 21 merit badges, and holding a leadership position within my Troop. 


In order for me to attain the final step on my journey to Eagle, I  need to plan, develop, and give leadership during a service project, complete a Scoutmaster conference and finally pass a comprehensive Eagle Scout Board Review.  I am currently working on my Eagle project which requires me to plan out a project, recruit volunteers, acquire the materials, and act as the supervisor of the project. 


My project will consist of replacing the old tabletops and putting new tabletops on the outdoor tables of Mission Valley Free Methodist Church in San Gabriel CA. Secondly, replacing the fenced area used to store tools at the church, the old one has become dilapidated.  I plan to start my project as soon as possible. To make my project possible, I am asking for the financial support of family and friends. I have estimated that the cost of my project will be about $2500.  If you are willing and able to donate to my project, I would be greatly appreciative.
