Connexions Community Youth Center

Community Connexions Network Nova Scotia is a new non profit. Recently, we leased our new space located at 899 Portland Street, and here, we hope to be running programs for children, youth, families, and community. Some of these programs will be summer programs for kids, a community room will be available to rent, a safe place for youth to come to, and a fun, supportive environment for families. We have over 11,500 square feet of space, which leaves us lots of room to create a warm and welcoming space for everyone. Our goal is to create a space for youth to come hangout, have supportive adult mentors, seek fellowship with other youth, get youth involved in community, help them build on existing skills and develop new skills, help with seeking necessary resources, and have a place to go when they are bored.

We hear all the time how youth have no place to go. This is an opportunity for Cole Harbour/Dartmouth youth to come together in a positive environment and get support like never before. We will have mentors, social workers, teacher, mental health professionals, and so much more available to youth  through community partnerships.

It's time for us to work together: to take ownership of what we all know has been a negative for our community and act on the opportunity to bring a youth centre to Cole Harbour!  We are happy to do the work but we need your help.  Every little bit counts, so please, support us to make Connexions Community Youth Centre-Cole Harbour, a reality!
