The Phone call you never want to receive.....
On Sunday February 3rd, around 2 in the afternoon we got the call.
This is the State Police, Conner has been in a accident we need you to come to the corner of Eastman and Monroe Rd right now.
Conner is banged, bruised, has a concussion, cuts and scrapes and 2 broken hands.
We have a long road to recovery and he is going to need someone with him to help 24 hours a day. We very seldom think about having 2 broken hands, and when your a 16 year old boy it is even worse to have someone caring for you.
It is looking like Terry will need to take FMLA leave for 6-7 weeks to take care of Conner. However his FMLA is unpaid leave.
We are hoping that the go fund me account can help with expenses for medical and to help supplement our income while Terry is off work caring for Conner.
For all those reading this his friend Dylan who was driving is in critical but stable
condition, he was transferred to U of M. Please say some prayers for everyone involved, hug your babies, tell them you Love them and hold them tight.
Prayers, Good Vibes and Thoughts of Encouragement are all needed.
