Connecting Seniors During Covid

Staying connected with the elderly during this difficult time is super important! Covid-19 has had a major impact on the senior community: they are vulnerable to the virus so, extra precautions have to be taken to protect them. However, this has led to a decrease in community, communications and activities for the senior citizens.  

Catholic Health LIFE provides services to over 273 participants, prior to Covid-19 many for these seniors attended the program’s adult day centers with an attendance of 75 a day where the seniors  were able to socialize with their peers and staff. Due to Covid-19 and for the safety of this population attendance is down to only 10 a day in order to implement appropriate infection control and social distancing protocols. PACE has been exploring ideas on how they can reach the seniors that are not able to come in. The best product on the market that can bring this community together is the GrandPad.
