Prom night is a once-in-a-lifetime event, but for many students, the financial burden of purchasing a dress can make it feel out of reach. That’s why The HustleHers Collective is partnering with a local boutique to provide beautiful, high-quality prom dresses to students who attend a high school in Charlotte-Mecklenburg County.
Our goal is to ensure that every girl, regardless of financial circumstances, gets to experience the magic of prom feeling beautiful and confident.
How It Works:
Selected students will receive a free, size-inclusive prom dress (sizes 10-32).
The boutique will block off a special day for the girls to have a private consultation and find their dream dress.
Fundraising Goal: $2,000
While our initial goal is $2,000, each dress averages $800-$4,000, so we are hoping to raise as much as possible to support additional students. Every dollar helps make a dream come true!
Who Can Apply?
- Open to all girls who attend a high school in Charlotte-Mecklenburg County
- Must have a 70% attendance rate
- Have at least a 2.5 GPA
- Must be a part of at least one extracurricular activity
- Must have a letter of recommendation from a teacher, guidance counselor, or administrator
- Submit a short essay on what receiving a prom dress means to them
