Coney Island Got Robbed

Donation protected
So here's the deal.
Last night, I set my company safe inside my car so that I could deposit the company's savings into the checking account this morning. I just signed a contract that's very big for us, and it requires us to have a much larger inventory than we normally have. Well last night someone broke into my car and took the safe. That money represents the future for our company. It represents the financial security and stability for myself and my four children. It represents a lot of hard work.
I know that I would be crazy to ask the Lawrence community to help me recouperate all the money I lost, so I am just asking for enough help to keep myself, my family, and my company afloat. This cash is going to pay my staff. It will keep me having inventory to sell until the checks start coming in that I am counting on for the winter. It will keep my kids fed, and a few hundred of it will buy them the winter coats I tried putting off.
I hate to put a rushed time limit on it, but I needed this money TODAY. I have managed to pull a few strings and for lack of a better term, rob Peter to pay Paul, but Peter needs paid on uesday. I need these funds by Tuesday. I know how inconvenient that short of a time frame is. Trust me, I would have got myself robbed on more convenient date if I controlled it.
this money means keeping my dream alive. there's no better way to put it. Coney Island represents the entrepreneurial goals that I have set for myself and have consistently worked toward, and occasionally even been successful in, throughout my adult life. If I dont get it, then the biggest break i have ever come close to will pass me by in four days. I need this.
I am not the type of person to ask for hand outs without offering something in return. In light of that, once Coney Island has the catering checks coming in, the total balance I receive from this campaign will be donated either directly to a family in need, or to a local organization that could put the funds to use in a way that will positively impact the community. so in a sense, this 2500 will have a 5000 impact for lawrence.
I love my job. I love meeting the new people that walk by, I  love the expressions that come accross their faces when I explain the toppings we make. I love the regulars that will literally drag their friends a few blocks down Mass street to force them to become the newest loyal Coney Island-ites. Meeting, seeing and serving the people of this community gives me a sense of belonging in some ways. I don't want one greedy thieving individual to jeapordize that. I need your help, Lawrence. I hate to ask, but please help. I need you.
