Conan's Health in Need of Help!
Donation protected
Conan is a very loving, caring and affectionate cat who, while growing up, became very close to his "step-brother" and stayed close by his side as he battled kidney disease at the age of 21.
Conan, now 13, is in a battle himself. He was diagnosed with Diabetes 2 years ago, which had been stabilized with insulin, until very early on Christmas morning. Conan started having diabetic episodes, and over the next several days his glucose levels could not be stabilized.
Conan has been at the Veterinary Hospital now since Monday and is expected to stay there until at least the following Monday. So far, they have taken multiple x-rays, bloodwork, urine tests, monitoring his glucose, and giving him glucose and insulin when needed. He is still not stable. They have found a mass on his pancreas.
Conan is a fighter, and I know this because he beats up on his brother, and me, every day. We are missing him terribly and can not imagine going into the New Year without him by our sides.
2020 has been a year of financial hardship and I am not sure how I am going to pay for this emergency vet bill, but as all faithful pet owners will attest to, I will do anything for my furry "kids". All funds raised will go to Conan's care.
Thank you for you kindness and generosity.
