May 24, 2014 my two year old daughter, Alanya, was life flighted from St George, Ut to Salt Lake City, Utah when they found a tumor in her brain. After the surgery that day, they discovered they did not extract the full tumor. That meant they needed to go in a second time for a second surgery. By the time they did this, it was too late and my baby was diagnosed with Brain Cancer. Now, we drive from St. George to Salt Lake a handful of times a month where Alanya is now going through chemotherapy, has lost all her hair, but somehow, remains the most beautiful and happy baby girl. I am blessed to say that my daughter remains positive, yet I am broken at the fear of losing her along with all my assets due to the time I have taken off of work. Even if all you can donate is $1, that puts me $1 closer to making sure my baby girl has a beautiful life once I am able to hold her in my arms again every day.
