Computers for Liberty in Uganda

Students for Liberty is a students initiative in Uganda that is advocating for a free society, individual liberty, Limited Government, Rule of Law, capitalism and a free market. Students for liberty Uganda was introduced to the country in 2013 and it has chapters in more than 20 universities in Uganda, with about 1,000 active members including students, graduates and professional activists.
Our mission is to educate and empower the next generation of leaders.
Our vision is a freer future.
We are determined to educate and empower young people to influence the prosperity for all and change mindsets towards a freer Africa in time to come.
We are changing and impacting on our societies to make a fundamental change to the wellbeing of all people and the country of Uganda.
We need to change the mindset of people and young professionals, students, and activists through understanding the idea of liberty for all.
We have also established the first liberty library in Entebbe with a variety of books on philosophy, capitalism, and liberty. We are now building our second library in Kampala.
We have also organized a nearly 50 public and campus events around the country including Leadership Forums and Symposiums that train our people about liberty, and free market and sharing the ideas of liberty for all.
We have a lot of work to do that requires writing forms and documents, proposals, committee notes and work, and social media outreach. To improve our capabilities, we need to buy three new laptop computers. These are used and imported from Europe, and the shop owner is giving us a discount if we purchase 3 of them together.
The total amount we need to raise is $575 US.
