Computers for Ghana

We want to deliver computer workstations to the libraries and schools in the Volta Region of Ghana we are serving. Our shipping container leaves in early April. It is filling with books and medical supplies, but the computer lab equipment is missing. $200 buys a gently used Mac Mini and monitor. Every child deserves an education to prepare them for success. We want to give the children of Ghana the opportunity to be successful in the 21st Century.

Teaching ICT in Ghana without a computer 

Students in Ghana are required to pass an exam to enter high school that includes computer science questions. Without access to a computer, rural students like those we will visit in the Volta region are at a disadvantage and struggle to pass the exam. For the cost of a kid’s birthday party package, you could make high school possible for a classroom full of kids.
