Compost in our schools

Table to Farm Compost is raising $8,000 to bring compost education to our schools. In partnership with 9-R and other area schools, we are bringing composting to the schools while also developing a science and agricultural curriculum for the classroom, including  field trips. Finished compost will be available for schools to use in their gardens or the 9-R campus. Funds will go toward Table to Farm Compost staff time to develop and implement this education campaign as well as pay for the school's composting pick-up service fees to make composting more accessible to area schools .
