Purchase equipment for our new building

Hello, My name is LaRonda LaNear, I am the owner of We Got It Covered. A local catering and food management service. We have provided great food and excellent customer service in the metro area since 2017.

When forming We got it covered, giving back to the community that I grew up in was a big part of the plan. We have stayed engaged by hosting an annual event we call Warm Up KC. Warm up KC is a yearly event that allows the community to come shop for free. We provide clothes, shoes, coats, blankets, and hygiene products to families in need. We’ve helped more than 1,300 in the past 5 years. I am a volunteer speaker for Nepris and KC connect. A platform that connects entrepreneurs with children in schools across the metro to discuss career readiness and the importance of ELA. I could go on and on about how much we give back but that’s not why I’m here.

We recently secured a brick and mortar for We got it covered and I couldn’t be more excited! The new space is complete with a commercial kitchen, a venue, and a private dining area for intimate dinners.

I am now needing the help of my community. While we have funding to complete the build out, to get the space complete and open for business, we are in need of additional funding. We really need help purchasing the following pieces of equipment so that the kitchen will be up to code and pass inspection with the Kansas City health department.

*three compartment sink

*tables and chairs for the venue

*one long prep table

Asking for help is never easy for me to do, but at this moment, it’s necessary. I appreciate any amount that you are able to give to help push We Got It Covered to the next level. As always, I will continue to pour back into my community through volunteer work and mentoring.
