BUILDING STRONGER MOMS THROUGH COMMUNITY WASH DAYS

I just want to personally thank everybody that has donated to the go fund me so far I am in the process of re-editing this video because I started this go fund me last year as I was starting the community wash days. We managed to raise $1860 last year through go fund me and this year within the first two weeks of 2021 we have seen over $6000 in donations. My name is Adam McNeil and I am the founder of this grassroots organization SistaTALKphl and this year with the help of the community I think to provide as many services to As many single mothers and families as possible. Although my organizations Primary focus is to provide services to single black mothers, creating programs that will help combat social injustices as well as Treat trauma we are no bias in our approach to create remedies that are beneficial to to growth of the entire community. Our community watch days will start back up again in the month of April and they will run all the way through November. Throughout each month I desire to give away washers and dryer’s as well as refrigerators to mothers during these community watch days outside of the regular giveaways that we have scheduled such as care package pampers and other essentials that mothers could use. We believe that these additions to our community wash day really assist families that are struggling. I hope that I am able to raise enough money To buy some sort of box truck or E-series van so that way we can pick up donations and do citywide giveaways without the extra expenses of U-Haul rentals. I would definitely like to secure enough funding so that way we may purchase a building for community activities that provide a safe haven for our young adults most importantly. We will be creating a platform going into March that will give individuals an opportunity to donate a minimum of $20 a month towards community development not just in the city of Philadelphia but in other cities as I seek to create chapters in other cities that are suffering from the same ramifications that we see here in the city of Philadelphia. It takes a community to change the community and my mission is to change the world as I support mothers That not only hold families together but are essential to the growth and development of our community. Outside of monetary donations we are seeking product donations such as diapers, baby wipes and care package items for the families- with your donations we will not only be able to proceed with our community watch the initiatives but other initiatives that we seek to start and have started such as our girls night that sponsors 10 young women in a shelter throughout the city of Philadelphia between the ages of 12 and 18 each month. We are developing new strategies on a daily basis that will help intensify the growth and development of family structures all throughout the city of Philadelphia. We are about action and we are about service and we will not be a force to be reckon with Unless we had the support of the community behind us Let’s raise $20,000 By the end of February so that our April launch of community wash days are not only successful but we can really start investing in the redevelopment of our community.
