(I have found insurance companies to often be a worse answer to accessing care both for myself as the practitioner and for clients seeking treatment).
Additionally I am making effort to do outreach work in Peru and Nepal to underserved communities. Our application has already been accepted for medical outreach by Project Buena Vista and I am looking to join the next outreach session.
It would be a dream for support to be strengthened by community who would like to get behind this work, and free me to do more donation based care and travel to underserved communities. The first $10k would free me to go to outreach work in Peru, to cover travel expenses and also the expense of not working during volunteer periods. Funds beyond that will go to support the continuation of donation based care, free bereavement work, and toward a living wage so I can be more free to help in this way.
