Community Support for the Cloy Haskew Family

William Grayson Cloy, 16, died in a car accident on December 3, 2021. Everybody called him Grayson and he was loved by all. Just the sweetest kid. One of his classmates had this to say;

 

William Grayson Cloy. Man, life hits hard sometimes. You were a good friend- no, a great one. You were humble, and you had a plan for your life. You said you’d go to a trade school and become a welder. You were my friend, and I’m lucky to have known you. I promise I’ll remember everything. I’ll remember when you just got second in the state in a biking competition (you knew I didn’t understand it much) a few weeks ago, and how you were the only other person who understood what it was like to work like I did to lose weight. I’ll remember how you laughed your way through ceramics, and math, and were one of the most stubborn people I know. I’ll remember how the ceramics project you never wanted to make turned out to be your favorite. I’ll think about how you brought the life and energy to this world that we so very much needed. I’ll cherish every memory that I have of every day I got. I’ll never forget.

 

This is the sort of young man Grayson was. He left behind a family that is reeling with devastation and shock.

A tragedy like this brings communities together and I know we all want to help. The family has asked for privacy and prayers. They are going to be facing financial hardships so we have created this fund for his family. I am a friend of Jennifer’s and the family, all donations go directly to Jennifer Cloy Haskew and her family.
