Community support for Lindsay Holmberg Brown

Our dear friend Lindsay is in need of our love and support. She recently received the devastating news that she is living with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. This is a degenerative and ultimately fatal disease. Lindsay is starting treatment and therapy while Jason cares for Lindsay, Joseph, and the farm full of critters.
We started this GoFundMe campaign to alleviate the financial strain that accompanies these illnesses. During this difficult and uncertain time, we want to reduce the stress of medical expenses that quickly reach astronomical levels.
Donations will go towards medical costs, therapy, lost work, and a support network to care for Joseph, the animals, and the farm. We know that treatment will last years and their needs will only grow with time. We have set an initial goal of $50,000 and would be thrilled to exceed it.
No one has as big a heart or as much compassion, patience, and resilience as this tough lady. Although it is no surprise that she is handling these challenges set before her with courage and grace, we want to remove as many roadblocks as we can so that Lindsay can focus on stopping the progression of this disease.
