Community Support for Leon Dady

Just a few short days ago a community outdoor carol services was arranged by Coniston Cafe and supported by Mamas Bristol CIC.
Everything was ready to go and we had incredible support from the Pauline Quirk Academy where lots of children and their families came along to lift some spirits after what we all feel a terrible year.
Sharron has everything ready and just the NIGHT BEFORE and her car was broken into, the speaker STOLEN and all the chocolate we had ready to give the children who were involved.. we reached out to the community and the amazing Leon offered to help with his entertainment set up!
FANTASTIC! and he did an absolutely AMAZING job, bought speakers, lights and nothing was too much trouble.
with the winter months and season over our heads we bought along a gazebo to protect his equipment from the elements.. suddenly through the middle of the beautiful songs the wind got under the gazebo and took his big speaker and lights with it.. we're hoping to get some support from the community to help replace the broken equipment and show him our massive thank you for stepping in.
Leon, a HUGE THANK YOU.. we know you didn't expect us to pay nor have asked us, all you did was say if there was anything more you could do in the future that you'd be so willing to do it all again.
BUT.. we know your insurance that would normally cover the costs under normal working circumstances, but with COVID and the restrictions in place you are not allowed to be working as an entertainer and you voluntarily came along to help, we hope now we can help you get your equipment back ready for when you are allowed to work again.
