Community Support for Daniel Pittsford's Family

With a heavy heart, the Pratt Fine Arts Center community mourns the passing of beloved woodworking artist and Pratt instructor, Daniel Pittsford. Kim McIntyre, worked often with Daniel at Pratt and shared, “Daniel was known for his energy and charisma. He taught wood turning, lots of pen turning! But also taught leatherworking and a few other wood classes.”

In addition to teaching many classes at Pratt, Daniel supported the Pratt community with regular woodturning demos at the annual Open House, and donations to the Pratt Fine Art Auction every year. Daniel also did demos at Equinox’s Holiday open house.
