‘Open Space Studios CIC’ is an initiative to promote mental well-being, healthy living and community togetherness. We utilise fitness and the creative arts as a platform to encourage and motivate all members of our local community to lead happy and healthy lifestyles; we are passionate about improving the physical and mental well-being of our local community. Our purpose and commitment is to invest back into our community through projects, classes, activities and events.
Our CEO and Company Director, Chloe Yeomans, spent 4 years significantly planning, fundraising and transforming a building that had been empty for over 15 years and left to crumble. After investing over £30,000 into renovating the building, Open Space Studios was finally ready to open its doors and deliver much needed activities to our local community.
However, lockdown has had a detrimental effect on our community studio. After the first lockdown in March everything came to a holt. We worked hard to retain our consumer engagement and interaction through free online classes and sessions through our website, social media and YouTube. Since September we have been slowly building back up our classes and customer participation throughout the studio. However, as we now enter the second national lockdown, the future survival of Open Space Studios CIC is undetermined.
We understand that this is an extremely difficult and challenging time for everyone. However, we are asking for support in the form of donations to aid in the survival of the studio. No gesture is ever too small and it can make the biggest difference. Any donation would be enormously appreciated, and we would be extremely grateful. Donations would help our studio to survive throughout lockdown and ensure that we can re-open in the near future to continue to deliver our community classes and activities.
