Community Mural Project: The Coffee Roaster

Summer is around the corner and we are ready to create with you! Our community organizer, Wendy Bantam, served in public projects as an AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteer in Service to America) and continues as a teaching artist with the Nebraska Arts Council and an Artist~in~Residence with the Lied Center for Performing Arts. As a teaching artist, she’s created wonderful projects in Lincoln and surrounding communities in the Midwest.

We wanted to create something beautiful on our building for our many supporters and offer families a chance to work with Wendy on a large scale, colorful mural, and create positive experiences.

We’re seeking donations to cover the cost of supplies and support community classes with the artist. Students who sign up will work with Wendy. They will learn to paint a mural and have the chance to add to the mural!55857268_1617730029407525_r.jpeg55857268_161773086984195_r.jpeg55857268_1617730052460807_r.jpeg
