With the permission &amp; blessing of our well-loved &amp; respected trainer Sydne Walstra, I am sharing the news with our amazing TYG community that at 16 weeks pregnant, <strong>Sydne has unfortunately miscarried</strong>. Now, many of you did not even know Sydne was pregnant, as she and her husband Ty hadn’t made an official announcement yet, but some of you got wind of it or were told by Sydne directly. Regardless of if you knew or not, we have strong &amp; confident hopes that our community here at The Yard will wrap your arms around her in love and prayer.

<div>Sydne is set to have surgery today (1/27) at 2:45 pm and will be taking the remainder of the week to spend time recovering and being with family. Sydne has asked that when she does return to training, we do not ask how she is feeling. And in an effort to respect her feelings and allow her job to be a way to escape this tough reality and find joy &amp; happiness in helping others do something we all have a passion for, the best thing you can do is just tell her how happy you are to have her back.

<div>In full transparency, <strong>the medical bills surrounding this surgery are very expensive &amp; not covered by their insurance</strong>. When our team considered the best options for finding a way to help during this time, we landed on a GoFundMe being the best available option to make the greatest impact on this unfortunate outcome. As we know more than most, this is what a gym family &amp; community is all about. Helping our family members who we love so much make it through some of life’s most challenging seasons.
