We are beyond grateful to our amazing and devoted customers and partners who have supported our growth since our launch 4 years ago at the Bloomington Community Farmer’s Market all the way to the shelves of our local food co-op Bloomingfoods, and on the menus of local businesses like Cup and Kettle Tea.

We have also been fortunate to collaborate with non profit partners like the Middle Way House which “works to support all survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking; and to educate the community through outreach and prevention programs.”

This March, on International Womens Day, we were proud to be able to reintroduce the beloved Gluten Free Food Works Inspired Loaf in honor of Toby Strout. We are thrilled to be donating a percentage of each loaf back to Middle Way House, a cause close to our hearts.

Additionally we are happy to be able to donate to the annual fundraising event for Women Writing For (a) Change Bloomington, an organization whose mission is to “create safe and inspiring learning opportunities for individuals who wish to pursue the art of writing as a tool for growth and change.”  Serendipitously, they are moving into Middle Way House’s former Food Works building.

As we evaluate how to contribute in a larger way to our community in the coming year, we look to our faithful friends to help us “seed” and nurture projects that generate healthful eating and hopeful empathy.

Please consider enabling us to secure a small certified gluten free kitchen space to:

1) Increase our current production and distribution of the Gluten Free Food Works Inspired Loaf so we can increase our donation to vital Middle Way House Programs.

2) Increase our current production and distribution of the  Seeduction Loaf,  our Grain Free/Gluten Free Fig Rosemary Scones, and our Grain Free/Gluten Free Granola, which if successful, we can donate a percentage of those proceeds to other local causes and organizations in need.

3) Create an opportunity for apprentice bakers (who have benefited from Middle Way House’s programs) and are looking to build skills and their resume.

4) Assist low income entrepreneurs, specifically immigrant women, women of color, and local farmers through a nutritional food collective that gives back to and lifts up our Bloomington community.

Thank you in advance for any contribution to our Go Fund Me campaign. We are hopeful and excited for this new growth with you!

Plan to be updated as we accomplish various stages of this project, including first steps of design, foundational work, structural updates, equipment, and beyond. We're also committed and looking forward to working with local Bloomington craftspeople as we tackle each step of this process.
