<div>The Garden Café is quickly becoming a go-to spot in the Northside for coffee, pastries, free plants &amp; free books -- and now we want to provide free food as well!

<div>Community refrigerators are popping up all over the country as a way to promote food security and eliminate food waste (you can learn more about community fridges <a href="https://www.vox.com/the-goods/22285863/community-fridges-neighborhoods-free-food" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">here</a> ), and we are eager to bring this very idea to The Garden. All donations to this fundraiser will be put towards purchasing a refrigerator, installing an outdoor electrical outlet, construction of a shelter for the fridge, and the initial stocking of food, with any leftover funds funneled towards electricity costs.
