Alan is a 2015 graduate from Ponderosa High School and an all conference baseball player. Upon graduation, Alan chose to serve our country and is a Sargent in the United State Marine Corps. In the past few weeks Alan began experiencing numbness in his feet and toes, which then began migrating up his body. With extensive evaluation the Doctors have discovered a cyst along with a tumor at the base of Alan's brain stem which is pressing against his nerves. It has been determined that surgery will need to be delayed while Specialist can pinpoint what approach the Doctors take for a successful surgery. As of now, Alan is scheduled for surgery October 1st and Doctors have also said a successful surgery will be met with a long recovery. Trish and Steve are currently in San Diego to be with their son to offer him love and support during this time. Ponderosa Nation is a caring community, along with all of the people of Parker.
