Community for James Saunders

James is thirteen years old.  Following a road traffic accident last April he sustained a severe traumatic brain injury.  James is still in hospital and making slow steady progress.  He is a determined young man who is fighting every day to recover. We want to help him in every way we can to ensure he makes a full return to health and an active life. James has many specific physical and Medical needs at the moment which need support. His needs in the future will include ongoing physiotherapy, speech and language therapy and neuropsychological support which will allow him to achieve the maximum possible recovery.  Many of these essential supports are not readily available in community services. We also have to consider specific educational and mobility needs as they may arise. The nature of James's injury is such that we have a short window of opportunity of up to 18 months.  We have to act now to give James the best possible quality of life. You can help us to help James.
