A strong passion of mine is to help communities living in deprived environments and to give them skills to rebuild their communities and become self-sufficient.

I will develop and implement an evangelistic meeting and a feeding project in Mwala, Machakos, in Kenya, which will take place from 3rd - 24th December 2022.

A recent shortage of rain has caused the area to yield far fewer cash and food crops which have significantly impacted their economy, leading to increased starvation and poverty. There is enormous uncertainty about how people will manage between now and the next harvest season.

I would also like to start a feeding program in a local community to reach out to those in urgent need of humanitarian intervention. The people could also benefit from the daily educational programs we plan to offer. The project will specifically focus on developing agricultural self-help, seed supply, health awareness, and emotional and spiritual enlightenment to renew people’s hope in faith and God.

To support the meetings and feeding project, we've estimated around £14,500. It will also go towards resources such as feeding packages, materials, educational packs, women's hygienic menstrual cycle packs for distribution, and workers to help implement the project.
