<div>We can’t operate as usual — because nothing about our community is normal right now.
</div>
<div>Minneapolis is grieving, terrified, and traumatized after the recent killings of community members by federal immigration agents.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My name is Sierra Carter and I am the founder of HEAL MPLS, a community café and healing space in North Minneapolis.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In response to recent events impacting our city, we have opened our doors as a free healing safe space for our neighbors.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>HEAL MPLS is providing free healing-centered programming and essential support including:
</div>
<div>	•	Daily nervous system regulation support
</div>
<div>	•	Therapist drop-in hours and trauma support
</div>
<div>	•	Free herbal teas, warm drinks, and calming spaces
</div>
<div>	•	Community meals and grocery kits for families who are afraid to leave home
</div>
<div>	•	Safe spaces for respite, rest, and grounding
</div>
<div>	•	Connection, care, and community medicine for those in pain
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We believe healing is a human right, not a luxury.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This fundraiser will directly support:
</div>
<div>	•	Rent and utilities for our safe space
</div>
<div>	•	Security to keep our community and volunteers protected
</div>
<div>	•	Weekly healing programs and trauma-informed care
</div>
<div>	•	Free meals, groceries, and essentials for vulnerable neighbors
</div>
<div>	•	Therapist hours and mental health support
</div>
<div>	•	Herbal teas, nervous-system tools, and community care resources
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are asking for your support today to help us stay open, stable, and strong for our neighbors who are hurting, anxious, and in need of hope.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every donation, big or small helps us continue showing up for Minneapolis with dignity, care, love, and healing.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for standing with our community.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div> This is community medicine. This is love in action.
