Commerce Cares for Kids

The Bronto Community Committee is excited to announce this year's Commerce Cares for Kids event which will be held during the 2014 Bronto Summit Open House on April 29, from 5-6:30pm.
We will again contribute to the 'Weekend Power Pack' program associated with the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina. This program meets the nutritional needs of children at risk of hunger during weekends. Through the program, kids are given special packs filled with nutritious foods. A typical pack will contain: proteins (tuna, beef stew, or peanut butter), vegetables (canned spinach, carrots or green beans), fruits (canned or fresh) and miscellaneous items (fruit juice, multigrain bars, cereal, or pudding).
Our goal is to raise $10,000 for supplies and then pack 1000 bags during the Commerce Cares for Kids event at the Bronto Summit Open House. This is a great opportunity to join together for a worthy community cause.

If you would like to participate in Commerce Cares for Kids by providing a financial contribution, Bronto will use that donation towards the purchase of supplies to be used during the bag packing portion of Summit.
