Coming Together to Support Jasper

Hi my name is Calynn.. this  campaign is for my son Jasper.  Updated April 2019 Jasper is now 4 years old....Jasper needed surgery (unrelated to the fire) Jasper suffers from sleep apnea. He was put under anesthesia. His doctor his tonsils and adenoids were removed. The hope was that with this surgery he won't have sleep apnea anymore. There was problem that we didn't see coming. Jasper woke up with a bark like cough. Which isn't a normal side effect for this surgery. He was put on a steroid. The cough got better but he still sounded hoarse. This isn't a normal side effect of that surgery either. His doctor have decided that we needed to see what is wrong with his throat. They think there's swelling or scarring around his vocal cords from December. They are going to have to put a camera down his throat to see what we are dealing with. His doctor is about two hours away one trip. December 2018 (original story.) Jasper is a 3 year old autistic child who was involved in the house fire on December 10th 2018 which his father passed away in. Jasper is now hospitalized with respiratory issues. Jasper in a medically-induced coma. Jasper has pneumonia and swelling in his throat. Jasper on a ventilator which is doing most of the breathing for him. On top of the pneumonia, He also has a bacterial infection in his lungs. Jasper has a MRI on December 14th 2018. The MRI results were that he was deprived of oxygen during the fire. They can tell the spots on the top of his brain was effected. But the good thing, it's not in the deep tissues. But his cerebellum is effected too. This part is associated with regulation and coordination of movement, posture, and balance. Jasper needs clothes (size 4t), shoes (size 8c), and diapers (size 7). His hospital is about 2 hours away. I could use help with gas card or staying in a room that the hospital offers for $35 a night.
