<div>Just a short while ago on Dec 22nd, Walter Young—our beloved friend, husband, father, and farmer—was involved in a tragic accident that turned his world upside down. While working on the farm, a round hay bale fell from a trailer and struck him, leaving him with severe injuries that no one could have ever imagined.
</div>
<div>Walter has always been a source of strength and kindness for those around him. He’s the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back without hesitation, always quick with a helping hand and a warm smile. Now, he finds himself in need of the same generosity and care he has so freely given to others.
</div>
<div>The accident caused serious internal injuries, including a ruptured bladder, shattered pelvis, and multiple fractures. After 2 surgeries to this point, Walter is facing at least 6–8 weeks confined to a bed, followed by an unknown amount of time in rehabilitation to regain his strength and mobility. The recovery process will be long, painful, and filled with uncertainty.
