PRIVATE FUNDRAISER FOR AMY....SHE DOES NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS!!!
As many of you know, Amy fell and broke her ankle a few weeks ago. Amy didn't just severely break her right ankle...( ie, no weight bearing, no driving) but our dear sister has quickly fallen into a financial hole and we are asking her friends and family for some help.
It has been a perfect storm of setbacks, having to move (twice) recently, the diner she managed shutting down, a second job reduced her hours, and a major medical event without medical insurance.
Amy is a very proud, upbeat and person. she is not asking for any financial help even though her situation is escalating through no fault of her own. So, we are asking for her. She does not know, and we would like to surprise her with whatever we can raise in the next 2 weeks.
May 1st is May Day...A spring festival for workers around the world. Amy cannot work right now and we don't want her to worry about this at all while she heals. Help us give her a respite from her financial stress.
