<div>Más de 3.500 pequeños animales huérfanos ingresan cada año en el Hospital de Fauna Salvaje de GREFA. Se trata de pollos y crías que llegan a nuestro centro por multitud de causas: malnutrición, deshidratación, caídas del nido, inexperiencia, pérdida de sus progenitores y otros motivos. Nosotros les brindamos los cuidados necesarios para tratar de recuperarlos y devolverlos a la naturaleza, lo que implica alimentación, limpieza e instalaciones adecuadas que garanticen su bienestar.

<div>Los medios humanos para atender esta ingente cantidad de animales los cubrimos gracias a más de un centenar de voluntarios que nos ceden parte de su tiempo, esfuerzo e ilusión de forma completamente desinteresada. Pero la campaña de "Pequeños Animales Huérfanos" implica también un gasto de 7.000 euros para poder pagar la comida y algunos otros materiales básicos.
