COMFORT CASES UK

YDWD has become COMFORT CASES UK. 

Comfort Cases UK is partnered with Comfort Cases, Inc who have been fostering dignity and hope for youth going into foster care by giving a NEW BACKPACK filled with BRAND NEW items of comfort and necessity.  

Their success in the US over the past 8 years and the similarities between our operations made it an easy decision for us to partner with them. 

Our first Donation Drive coincides with “Foster Care Fortnight” in May. Our aim is to provide 50 Comfort Cases to Local Authorities who can pass the cases on to children who are taken from their homes and placed in care. 

The long term aim will be for social workers UK- wide to be able to order as many cases as they need on a monthly basis for the children they are placing in care. 

As we grow there will be opportunities for schools, religious groups, Duke of Edinburgh groups, and community volunteers to become involved in donation drives and packing the cases ready to be sent out to where they are most needed. 

BUT FIRST WE NEED THEM TO KNOW THAT COMFORT CASES ARE FREE TO THEM SUPPORTED BY THE LOVE AND CARE OF THEIR LOCAL COMMUNITIES.
