Most of you have shared the exhilarating journey as I left behind my 20-year tech career to pursue my lifelong passion for classical music - returning to school at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and completing my Master's in Viola Performance last month. (woo hoo!)
So what's next? I've been invited to study at one of the most prestigious summer training programs in the world: The Aspen Music Festival and School , where they receive 100 applications for a single spot (check out the awesome video!).
But I need your help to get there .
And you can come along!
Have you ever yearned to"leave it all behind" in pursuit of your heart's desire? Do you love classical music and want to go behind the scenes at a world-class institution?
COME TO ASPEN! I will be sharing photos, videos and social media updates. And I look forward to bringing YOU with me!
My goal includes tuition, fees, and all expenses - including those that will continue at home in my absence. (see itemization below my photo). In addition to fundraising, I'm also actively pursuing work opportunities I can undertake while at Aspen.
The festival begins June 26 so time is of the essence!

To quote the former VP of Development of the Chicago Symphony, "What level of giving constitutes a 'transformational' gift? EVERY gift is transformational!" So rest assured - EVERY dollar will be appreciated and put to good use! Any funds raised above my goal will be used to defray my prior educational expenses.

Expenses you can fund by the week, month or summer!
$ 100 - practice room fee for 8 weeks
$ 125 - set of viola strings
$ 140 - bow rehair for 2 bows
$ 200 - new glasses (not covered by insurance)
$ 240 - cell phone for 8 weeks
$ 280 - Home car insurance for 8 weeks
$ 300 - incidental expenses for 8 weeks
$ 300 - new viola pegs (mine are worn, need replacing)
$ 880 - student loan payments for 8 weeks
$1200 - groceries and meals for 8 weeks
$1800 - Aspen rent for 8 weeks
$2600 - Home rent for 8 weeks
$2800 - Home bills for 8 weeks
$5424 - tuition and fees
