Comedy in support of an end to police violence

This campaign is devoted to raising money to end police violence in America. The last two weeks have awakened many of us, including me, a white guy, to what others who are not me have known all along. The system is broken, and needs to change.  This fund will not by itself change that system, but this is one small action to contribute to both immediate and long-term change.

100 % of the proceeds will go to campaign zero (, an organization devoted to ending police violence by limiting police interventions, improving community interactions, and ensuring accountability. Campaign zero's current campaign, #8cantwait, is advocating for reforms that will limit police violence and can be implemented today.

We will be raising money through a live, social-distancing comedy show that will be streamed from a generous donor's backyard on June 20th from 7-9pm EST. Comedy might seem unsuited for the present situation, but a room where everyone is laughing is a room that is united, whether we know each other personally, and unity is required to address these structural problems.

The show will be live-streamed, and if you donate to it, at whatever amount, you will be given the information to tune into the feed. The show will have the best comedians in Boston, and will go to a good cause. I hope you consider donating.
