Come Together for Sicily!

Firstly, my family and I would like to express extreme gratitude to G-d for helping us locate Sicily after her accident. Sicily McRaven was hit by a car while she was riding her bike on August 22nd, 2017. She was crossing an intersection, when she was in a hit-and-run collision. Fortunately, police found and arrested the driver, but Sicily sustained multiple breaks in her shin. Since then, she underwent surgery to correct the healing process in her leg, but her ability to walk will still be greatly hindered for the next 10 to 16 weeks, as it heals. She's facing the upcoming months with freshly implanted rods in a leg, road rash, and narcotic brain-fog from the pain killers. Our dream is to help Sicily thrive despite her upheaval! So we're asking our freinds and family to give according to each one's ability, in order to help her cover costs of living while she heals, such costs including: -bills -medical bills (as necessary) -incidentals (e.g. food, hygenic toiletries, etc.) We gratefully accept even small donations because they will add up! All proceeds go to Sicily, for her daily expenses and bills during recovery. $2,500 should cover her general needs for the upcoming months. Proceeds that exceed this amount may also be used to pursue legal action against the driver who hit her and wouldn't stop. Other helpful contributions might include, for example, donating crutches or some easy-to-prepare food. Legal aid might also be useful in the near future. Consider what kinds of donations you would need if you were in her position. As an aside, Sicily has already proven to be very rich in solid relationships throughout this whole ordeal. As her brother, I'm honestly amazed at just how dedicated that a handful of her acquaintances have already proven themselves to be, concerning her wellbeing. I understand, for example, that her roommates quickly responded by moving her room to the first floor, which is just inspiring.
