Combat vet needs a little help.

Approximately two weeks ago I was stricken with an illness that has paralyzed my left leg and left me in a wheelchair. I am a hard working man and soul supporter of my wife of 27 years. We live paycheck to paycheck like a lot of American families. My wife who isn't in the best health herself has been caring for me. But now that I haven't been able to go back to work the bills are pileing up and I have no idea what to do. I am not the type to ask for handouts. I am simply asking for a hand up until this thing passes and we can get back on track.
