Combat Medic needs legal assistance

Donation protected
We are in need of Legal funding for my son.  My oldest son has been in the Army for 17.5 years with 3 combat tours as a EMT/Combat Medic.  Mark was supposed to be pinning on his promotion to E-7 Sergeant First Class 6-12 months ago.  He has had a honorable career walking on patrols with the infantry in Afghanistan for 12 months, helping out children in the local town when possible and assigned a medic for the Military Police in Iraq.   He is dedicated to his country and the soldiers and civilians he has worked with while deployed, working as a medic on training sights stateside or supervising other medics in military hospitals.

He was court martialed and sentenced to 1 year in a military detention center, reduction to E-1, loss of all pay and allowances and a bad conduct discharge for something he was falsely accused of.  I have spoken to several of his fellow service members and was told the same thing... he was falsely accused.  Due to the fact that this is up for appeal I cannot put up all information concerning the incident.  If you are considering donating and have any questions or concerns at all, I would be happy to answer what I can if you message or email me.

So now we take a combat medic/EMT with 17.5 years of experience, someone who has been on the front lines trying to safe lives of his fellow soldiers/civilians that have lost limbs from stepping on or driving over IED's.   Now, because of what I consider the Army's lack of poor judgement, if nothing is done he will released from a U.S. military detention center in 8-9 months with no job... no military retirement... little to no entitlement to VA compensation even though he now has 3 screws in his spine from three different surgeries, PTSD  and taking medication to stop seizures all while serving his country.

These funds which are needed as soon as possible will help pay for a civilian lawyer who specializes in Military Courts of Appeal.

As a parent is it normal to take your child's side, but I did my due diligence and research to make sure that I was certainly doing the right thing and not just taking his side from the parental/emotional stand point.

I myself am a retired Army Veteran and am very proud of my time in the Army.  I am still proudly serving our country as a government civilian.  We are a military family with three of our four children joining the military to serve our country.   My oldest daughter served 4 years in the Army as a Lab technician and my youngest daughter is a Medic in the Air Force and has served one combat tour in a NATO MASH unit Afghanistan and is now currently deployed to the Middle East a second time... volunteered both times.  Unfortunately while serving I have seen good service members careers ruined because of poor judgement from leadership and/or different standards depending on where you are assigned.

I would be extremely appreciative of any donations to help with his defense.

Thank you very much!
