Combat Convo's: Affected by War
Donation protected
What happens when the deployment is over and our service members return home? What do families do when time has passed without the service member?
We are raising money that will help bring about change and understanding with families, veterans and local policy makers on the effects of war once veterans return home. For many veterans, the war rages on, well after coming home.
We've created an opportunity to discuss the issues and consequences of the choices made, lending voices and experiences to the play and how “we” as a community can truly embrace and support our warriors and their families coming home.
Co produced by Impact theatre of Lucid Body Institute and One Fight Foundation !
This is a dynamic, engaging theater piece created by veterans and actors that cultivate an essential and much-needed dialogue about important struggles in the veteran community. The purpose of the session is to engage the audience in finding solutions, or even stepping into the theatre piece to change the results.
The goal will inspire ideas for positive change, trigger forward-moving
thinking, and bridge the communication gap between veterans and those in their surrounding community. It started in NYC where it became so effective laws were changed and created to improve the quality of life of veterans and their families.
We are bringing the same determination and experience to the Lehigh Valley and need help to do so. The event date will be in February 9th at 3pm with the venue at Banana Factory near the Sands Casino in Bethlehem.

The money raised will go towards administrative and travel costs in bringing high level and quality talent to the Lehigh Valley from NYC. Please help us in bringing about positive change for our veterans. Any donations made that exceed the goal will go to One Fight Foundation that directly helps veterans with the fight against suicide and cope with military related challenges.
The play is crafted and informed by forums in the Lehigh Valley with veterans, civilians and family members. The script is designed and sculpted by the forums, the cast, Fay Simpson and Jenny Pacanowski.
