Colvin Family Houston Flood Relief

Donation protected

In the early morning of August 27, 2017 my brother, Clay Colvin and his family of 6: wife Lindsay and their 4 sons ages 1-10, took on water in their Houston home. With the use of Clay's kayak, they were able to evacuate safely to a neighbor's home. They have since relocated to another friend's home with power (and a/c) and will be renting an apartment as soon as it is possible.

Their single story home experienced major flooding and though they and some valuables were spared, likely everything will need to be replaced: beds, dressers, clothing, books, toys, dining table, washer/dryer, etc. This money will go to help them clean the debris from their home and get them going with some necessities for their interim apartment. If you wish to donate specific items, please contact me separately so we can coordinate that.

Thank you in advance for your prayers and support during this extremely challenging time for their family (along with all the others displaced during this horrific storm). They truly appreciate any assitance you can provide (manpower is great too if you are local!).
