Columbus High School Mathletics

Each year, the Columbus High School math department, in conjunction with its math team and Mu Alpha Theta math honor society hosts three math tournaments.  We annually host an elementary and middle school tournament, providing certificates and t-shirts to all participants as well as trophies to each school's top scorer and winning teams.  We also began hosting an all-girls, elementary competition three years ago, and it continues to grow and spark the interest of girls for mathematics.  In addition to these tournaments our Mu Alpha Theta chapter continues to maintain over 100 members, and our math team has grown their participation in math competitions. The tournaments we host as well as all the ones we participate in cost money. We began hosting math tournaments over 20 years ago, and we'd like to continue hosting them for another twenty years.  With your donation, I hope that will be possible.  Any amount you could give would be greatly appreciated, and it would be directly used in continuing to build and support our math program and the tournaments we host for the community.  Please consider supporting this program, either as a one-time gift or as an annual contribution.
