Like many other organizations, the pandemic has required the playgroup to make many changes to the day to day operations in order to meet the new Provincial guidelines such as: smaller class sizes, additional cleaning protocols and enhanced staff. In addition to the these changes, no parent volunteers are permitted on the premises and the co-op cannot run their typical fundraising activities such as the annual silent auction, book orders, MacMillan food orders, Breakfast with Santa and the Friday morning drop in program.
As a non-profit, the Playgroup relies heavily on it's annual fundraising activities to support it's operations and without being able to fund raise in our typical manner, this year we decided to launch this Go Fund Me campaign.
