Colorado Wildfire Victims
Donation protected
I would like to introduce myself to you. My name is Eric Trostle and I work for Associates Insurance Group, Inc. I am a 7th generation settler descendent and native of Colorado. I am proud to call this state my home for my whole life and I have family and friends that stretch to the four corners of the state. I live in Littleton but I love to camp and fish in the national parks which I consider to be my back yard. This past summer and fall our communities across the state have suffered because of the wildfires. Families have lost homes, heirlooms, businesses, income, food, clothing and even lives have been lost. On Friday Oct. 23rd, I woke up to the horrifying news that one of the many fires burning in our state, the East Troublesome Fire, went from 18,000 acres to 187,000 acres and I could no longer hold back my emotions. I broke down into tears and realized in that moment that I had to do something. I put myself in the shoes of those families and felt the heart ache of “What if that was my home or my parents' home?”.
We realize that these fires have affected those of our community from both a personal and business standpoint and that every dollar raised helps move those affected one step closer to getting their lives back. Your donation may provide a meal for a family, a few nights lodging or a sense of hope for someone who has lost everything they have put their heart and soul into.
Our goal is to raise money for all of those affected by the terrible wildfires we experienced this year. All money raised will be divided amongst the three funds set up for the 3 major areas affected. The funds will be going to: the 2020 Fires Relief Fund which covers Boulder County, the Grand County Wildfire Emergency Fund which covers Grand County and the Cameron Peak Fire Response Fund which covers Larimer County.
With our goal of $50,000 dollars we can show our community, our state and our fellow Coloradans that while we may not have been personally affected by these wildfires that we stand with them to help them out in every way that we can. Remember, no donation is to small as every bit helps to feed and provide for those that have been devastated by these fires!
Sincerely,
Eric Trostle and Associates Insurance Group, Inc.
